This week we decided to feature Dipladenia, since they are commonly confused with Mandevilla. They appear to be the same plant but have a much different growth habit. Dipladenia grow to be more shrub like and not a vigorous vine. They perform best in full sun but part shade will work as well. We grow them in a 6” pot, the perfect size for repotting into your own container or basket. We also have them available in a large, already established bush, ready to be enjoyed all summer.
Gardener’s Tip
Dipladenia are an excellent performer and will be in constant bloom all summer. They are the perfect plant for that windy area where nothing ever survives! Gardeners who try them the first year usually come back the following year wanting more.
